“Recently, as my wife and I were nearing completion on our house remodel, we ran into a slight problem. We could not find an entertainment center that fit our needs. After viewing dozens of pre-built pieces at several shops, we turned our attention to custom made furniture. An interview process of four different designers and builders resulted in our decision to hire Jack Lelah. Being able to look at some of his work and visit his workshop convinced us that he was the right builder.
The design and build process took approximately two months and it was well worth the wait. There is no other item of our remodel that receives more compliments from our friends and family. Not only is this entertainment center classically beautiful and user friendly, it's timeless design will certainly ensure a special place in our family history.
If you are in the market for truly distinctive quality furniture, we would highly recommend Jack. He is very easy to work with and his attention to detail is incredible. Jack stands out in his industry as a true craftsman and genuinely wants to satisfy each client. We would not hesitate to use him again!”

“To just say that Jack Lelah is a fine craftsman is a bit of an understatement. Jack is truly an artist as well. My husband had his heart set on wanting a 60 inch Plasma Screen TV. My concern was being able to have a piece of furniture designed around this TV that would look proportionate. Well, after receiving a scale drawing of this beautiful piece of furniture with the TV in it, my mind was put at ease. I liked Jack's idea of the wall to be used for the piece, however, there were existing painted bookcases covering the entire wall, which Jack removed for us creating no damage, and no mess.
The new piece of furniture that Jack has built for us is an absolute joy to use. All of the components are behind doors on roll out shelves, so one can get to all the wiring. His design for the storage of DVDs and CDs in drawers is incredible. When I close the doors, I don't hear even the slightest bump. And once you see this piece, you are drawn to touch it. It is the smoothest piece of wood furniture throughout our entire home. After learning the process of what it takes, and what goes into a piece of furniture that Jack Lelah designs and builds, there really is no comparison to the furniture one buys in a store. So for anyone wanting perfection, we're sure that Jack Lelah will fulfill your desires.”

“We were pleasantly surprised when we met Jack Lelah. He spent the time needed with us explaining every aspect of each piece we wanted done before the work began. We commissioned him to design, build, and install custom pieces in four areas of our home. Everything was built and finished in his shop, and then wrapped in quilts, and brought to our home for the installation, which was a very smooth and peaceful process. Every level of Jack's craft exceeded our expectations. It is such a joy to experience the form, function, and aesthetic value of each of his pieces of furniture and cabinetry on a daily bases, and knowing the time well spent in designing and building these pieces will make them last forever.
We bought an existing home and even though we do enjoy it, we wish as well that many other aspects of this home were of the same standards that 'Top Drawer' provides. For those of you who are needing something special in the way of custom woodwork, we would recommend only Jack Lelah, and after he designs and builds a piece for you, it is our belief that you will too.”

“My wife and I met Jack Lelah in a parking lot of all places. What drew our attention to him was his work truck. It is a beautiful fully restored 1946 Chevrolet. Joyce and I talked with Jack on the spot about needing an Entertainment Center. We were leaving for a vacation, and set a date to meet with Jack at our house in three weeks. When he arrived, he had many beautifully finished wood samples with him. In a short while we decided on Eastern Maple for our built in piece. After this decision was made, Jack spent more time with us asking many questions of how we wanted to use this piece: such as components, wire management, weather cooling fans were needed, storage, and display.
The piece of furniture he designed and built for us, stretches between two walls. It is 16 feet long, 10 feet high to the ceiling, and at it's deepest point, 28 inches. Jack has an incredible eye for detail. There are no nails showing in this entire piece except the ones needed to hold the beautiful Crown Molding in place. But try to find them, you can't.
Throughout the installation, Jack worked in a very clean and safe manner. The room this Entertainment Center is in, is quite large, and Jack's design of this piece makes it. Whenever we have guests, Joyce and I Like to joke about how this piece was brought into the house. Seven separate units make up this single piece of furniture, but with Jack's design, and the way he installed this piece, one can't tell. Seriously though folks, Jack Lelah is a man of integrity. He did everything he said he was going to do and more. As a present to Joyce and I, he built a beautiful wooden base for the Plasma Screen TV housed in the cabinet. He would not use the metal base that was provided. Joyce and I happily recommend Jack Lelah to anyone needing a true Craftsman.”

“Since 1994, we have worked with Jack Lelah on eight projects, ranging from small to large. Regardless of the size of the project, Jack has given each one the attention it deserves and has proved exceedingly capable with any task. Just as important, Jack has always been a pleasure to work with. Jack embodies the traits that we all wish every tradesperson would have, but rarely do: talented, capable, reliable and professional in the best sense of the word. Jack is quite simply the most meticulous, caring and honest person we've ever had the pleasure of working with. We can't imagine anyone being disappointed with his work.”
